Skaneateles is located on scenic State Route 20 in the heart of Central New York.  It is easy to reach from either the New York State Thruway (Interstate-90) or Interstate-81.  Skaneateles is less than twenty miles southwest of Syracuse, thirty miles northwest of Cortland, and seven miles east of Auburn.  The Seitz Building is in the center of the Village of Skaneateles located at the intersection of Jordan Street and Genessee Street (SR-20) across from Lake Skaneateles.
